Toyota announced the all-new Tacoma a while ago, but we’ve yet to see details on the truck’s available configurations. That changed over the weekend, as The Drive found a leaked Canadian order guide for the pickup that shows the trims and options for Toyota’s newest ‘ute.
It’s worth noting that Canadian vehicles often get more equipment than equivalent American vehicles, so the options in this order guide might look quite a bit different when our orders open. Canadian TRD Sport models get luxury features, while the Sport trim gets high-end features like heated and ventilated seats, a sunroof, and a heated steering wheel.
TRD Off-Road models get a lift kit, all-terrain tires, a locking rear differential, and skid plates. Canadians can choose between short and long beds, and the manual transmission is available only for short-bed TRD Off-Road and TRD Sport+ configurations.
While we’ll almost certainly see different configuration options when the truck goes on sale in the States, the 2024 Tacoma’s upgrades should make it a compelling choice in the class. Despite its age, it outsold its rivals last year, and the updates for 2024 will only help its cause. Toyota introduced a new Trailhunter trim with overlanding-ready equipment and beefy styling, and the truck gained new powertrain options.
